Can I rotate or change the blueprint orientation after uploading into Digs?

Short Answer: Not Yet

Digs does not currently support rotating pages within a blueprint or document after it has been uploaded. All files maintain the original orientation as defined in the source document.

🧭 Why Doesn’t Digs Allow Rotation?

Blueprints and construction documents are often precision-engineered, with orientation playing a key role in understanding dimensions, flow, and spatial relationships. To maintain accuracy and consistency, Digs preserves the original orientation of all uploaded documents.

🔧 What Should I Do If My Blueprint Is Rotated Incorrectly?

Option 1: Edit the File Before Uploading

Use a third-party tool (like Adobe Acrobat, Preview for Mac, or any PDF editor) to rotate the document to the correct orientation.

Option 2: Reupload the Corrected Version

Once the orientation is fixed, save the updated file and reupload it to your project in Digs.

💡 Pro Tips for Managing Orientation Issues

Tip Description

✔️ Check Before Uploading

Review file orientation ahead of time to save yourself from rework.

🗂️ Use Clear Naming

Rename updated files (e.g., Blueprint_Rotated_v2) so team members can quickly identify the correct version.

📣 Communicate with Your Team

If a rotation issue arises, notify collaborators about which version to reference. This helps avoid confusion or duplication.
